Learn how to train your Wik AI Assistant using website URLs and PDF documentation.

A document in Wik AI acts as a knowledge resource for your assistant. By linking your help center, guides, or manuals, Wik AI analyzes the content to assist customers accurately.

Currently, Wik AI supports public Website URLs and PDF files as knowledge sources.

How to Create a Document?

In the left sidebar menu, click on Documents under Wik AI.

Select Source Type

Click on Create a New Document. You will be presented with a form to either enter a public website URL or upload a PDF file.

Enter URL or Upload PDF

Website URL: Enter your help center URL (e.g. https://example.com/docs). Wik AI will systematically crawl all pages starting with this URL path.
PDF File: Upload product manuals, technical guides, or documentation PDFs. Wik AI extracts and indexes text content automatically.

Start Processing

Click Create. Wik AI will analyze, index, and organize the content to answer customer inquiries. Newly discovered pages during crawling will be added as individual documents.

Verifying Content Parsing

To ensure that your documentation is properly parsed, Wik AI analyzes the uploaded documents to identify potential questions and generates a list of related FAQs.

Open Document Options

Click on the three-dot menu next to the processed document.

Select View Related Responses to review the FAQs generated from the document.

Document Usage Limits

Document limits depend on your active plan tier:

Startups Plan: Up to 100 free documents.
Business Plan: Up to 200 free documents.
Enterprise Plan: Up to 300 free documents.
